The Story Behind The Stand

The Bucket started as a small food stand shaped like a lunch bucket on Eagle Rock Boulevard. Nearly 90 years later, it's still on the same corner.

Came in here for the first time today and let me say their food is amazing! Tacos both chicken and beef are great! Their hot sauce is very spicy but has a ton of flavor as well. Let’s not forget about the guys working the place amazing costumer service! Will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for good tacos out here!

Wow!! The burger was amazing! I ordered the York Burger with mushrooms, and it’s honestly the best burger I’ve had in a while. We also ordered the carne asada fries, and they came out hot and super delicious. Highly recommend this place!

Loved it in the 70s and 80s when Julio the Hungarian Basque man was making garlic burgers and verbally abusing us for fun! Then he passed away but I realized recently that it had been refurbished and still serves Julio's garlic burgers and fries among other delicious things. 😋 so I went and got some food and laughed and showed the workers the old photos I had of it. I recommend it, and now they have a parking lot and outside covered area to eat on tables and chairs.

Really good prices and food. So happy they were open. Everywhere else was closed. The burgers are exactly what you need on a cold night. Shout out to the dope cashier who turned the heater on. Definitely will be back.
